ANIM 331 Digital Animation Techniques Current 2D Trends Course introduces students to digital animation techniques and aesthetics currently used by traditional animators for professional productions. Students will apply fundamental animation principles learned in Drawing for Animation 1 (ANIM 210) and apply them using various techniques and software which may include Flash, Photoshop, and After Effects. Students learn to create paperless hand-drawn animation using a digital drawing tablet and computer, creating a short animated piece by the end of the semester.
